Me Becky Etingin
Becky Etingin is a lawyer at Sheri M. Spunt Avocate Inc. Since completing her combined Bachelor of law and Juris doctor at Université de Montréal in May 2017, she has successfully passed both the Quebec and the New York bar exams.
Prior to beginning her studies in law, Becky graduated from McGill University with a bachelors in Psychology. She has always had a passion for helping and understanding others. Becky chose a career in law because she wants to have a meaningful and positive impact on others. She has a particular interest in family law as she feels she can best help people who are going through the most difficult time of their lives.
While pursuing her law degree, she spent time working in a variety of different legal settings in Montreal, including a prestigious family law firm as well as a corporate law firm and interned in a notarial office. She also worked at Project Genesis, a non-profit organization which assists and informs vulnerable Montrealers on their legal rights.
She volunteers at the Friendship Circle with special needs children and has acted as a mentor and tutor privately. She has also tutored children in affiliation with Agence Ometz. While pursuing her studies, Becky also founded a corporate daycare at an investment firm in Downtown Montreal.
